REGRESAR

One year from his passing, we remember Argentine architect Cesar Pelli

After a successful career spanning over 60 years, Argentine Architect César Pelli died exactly 1 year ago at age 92. Everyone in Qatar knows his work, since he designed the building of the amazing Sidra Medicine, a member of Qatar Foundation.

Born in 1926, Pelli studied at the University of Tucuman, in his native Argentina, before beginning his career in the Michigan offices of Eero Saarinen. He worked at different firms before founding his own company, Cesar Pelli & Associates (now Pelli Clarke Pelli)

Among his best known work worldwide, we can name the Petronas Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur, the World Financial Center in NYC & the National Museum of Art in Osaka.
