The Embassy of the Argentine Republic to the State of Qatar joined the Webinar “Pandemic Politics: Reflections on COVID-19 in the Gulf”.

The webinar was moderated by Luciano Zaccara, research assistant professor in Gulf politics at Qatar University, and Simon Mabon, director of the Sectarianism, Proxies and De-Sectarianization Project, and included Guy Burton, visiting fellow at the London School of Economics Middle East Center, Jacopo Scita, Al Sabah doctoral fellow at Durham University, and Marc Owen Jones, assistant professor in Middle East studies and digital humanities at Hamad bin Khalifa University in Doha.

The goal of the webinar was to discuss upon the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on the politics of states in the Persian Gulf.
