AVISO IMPORTANTE A LA COMUNIDAD ARGENTINA RESIDENTE EN QATAR

Ante los hechos ocurridos de público conocimiento, se recomienda a los ciudadanos argentinos residentes en esta jurisdicción:

  • Contar con Pasaporte vigente y en buenas condiciones, así como toda otra documentación necesaria para viajar o identificarse;
  • Permanecer en lugares seguros, evitando los desplazamientos innecesarios;
  • El gobierno de Qatar es la única fuente que emite anuncios e informaciones oficiales. Se aconseja a la comunidad argentina seguir las instrucciones de las autoridades y sistemas de alerta locales;
  • Revisar periódicamente las redes sociales de esta Embajada, para estar al tanto de cualquier información o comunicación que pudiera remitirse por dicha vía;
  • Tomar contacto con la Representación ante situaciones de urgencia. La Embajada se encuentra a disposición para prestar la asistencia que sea necesaria.

Ambassador of Argentina: Qatar is a role model for international cooperation

His Excellency Carlos Hernandez, Ambassador of the Argentine Republic in Doha, said that the speech of His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of the State of Qatar, shows the solid level of commitment of the people of Qatar, its authorities and all of its inhabitants to the international community, stressing that it is an example that must be emulated internationally.

He added: Qatar is a pioneering country, both through its contributions to the United Nations system in various fields, as well as through humanitarian aid to various parts of the world, and it is very clear that the State of Qatar and its people, under the wise management of His Highness, do not prove only with words but also concrete examples on the road to Achieving the goals of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, and this is an example that our countries should emulate.
