On August 9 Ambassador Carlos Hernandez held a meeting with Qatar Mining CEO Mr. Khalid Al Obaidli.

During the meeting, they explored the possibility of starting joint work in the northwestern area of Argentina, especially the province of Jujuy, in light of the important mineral resources that this region offers. It was also agreed to work on the next visit of the Governor of Jujuy in order to make a detailed presentation on the subject, possibly during the month of January 2019.
