On July 31st, Ambassador Carlos Hernández held a meeting with the new Director of the Diplomatic Institute of Qatar, Dr. Abdulaziz Mohamed Al-Horr.

During the meeting both officials agreed on practical forms of cooperation that will include the exchange of visits by the Director of Argentina´s National Foreign Service Institute (ISEN), Ambassador Fernando Petrella, to Doha and reciprocally of Dr. Al-Horr to Buenos Aires.

At the same time, the participation of a young Qatari diplomat in the 2019 Argentine Program for Foreign Young Diplomats was agreed.
