AVISO IMPORTANTE A LA COMUNIDAD ARGENTINA RESIDENTE EN QATAR

Ante los hechos ocurridos de público conocimiento, se recomienda a los ciudadanos argentinos residentes en esta jurisdicción:

  • Contar con Pasaporte vigente y en buenas condiciones, así como toda otra documentación necesaria para viajar o identificarse;
  • Permanecer en lugares seguros, evitando los desplazamientos innecesarios;
  • El gobierno de Qatar es la única fuente que emite anuncios e informaciones oficiales. Se aconseja a la comunidad argentina seguir las instrucciones de las autoridades y sistemas de alerta locales;
  • Revisar periódicamente las redes sociales de esta Embajada, para estar al tanto de cualquier información o comunicación que pudiera remitirse por dicha vía;
  • Tomar contacto con la Representación ante situaciones de urgencia. La Embajada se encuentra a disposición para prestar la asistencia que sea necesaria.

Visiting the Qatar Equestrian Federation

On August 13 Ambassador Carlos Hernandez held a meeting with the Secretary General of the Qatar Equestrian Federation, Mr. Bader Al Darwish.

During the meeting topics related to the development of Polo in Qatar with the benefit of having Argentine support and supervision were discussed. Mr. Al Darwish sent his invitation to the President of the Argentine Polo Association and team to participate in meetings on the subject during the first week of next November. In this regard they agreed on the possibility of building a polo field in Qatar with the supervision and participation of Argentina.
