The United Nations designated 5 June as World Environment Day to highlight that the protection and health of the environment is a major issue, which affects the well-being of peoples and economic development throughout the world. Last year we went paper free, becoming a Green Embassy by signing a partnership on public awareness on environment & recycling Elite Paper Recycling. Since last October, we also started collecting pet plastic bottles and aluminum cans, and have been taking them to Al Meera Qatar Legtaifiya branch to recycle.
