On September 6 Ambassador Carlos Hernandez held a meeting with the Minister of Culture and Sports  H.E. Mr. Salah Bin Ghanem Al Ali.

During the meeting, the signature of an agreement on the cultural and sport sectors was agreed to take place during the state visit of HH the Amir to Argentina in October. As well, it was discussed the need to exchange athletes, players and teams in the various sectors. Additionally, it was also agreed to boost the cultural contact between both countries in the short term and to extend an invitation to the Argentine Secretary of Sports  to visit Qatar during 2018.
